Cindy Wyatt

Cindy Wyatt was welcomed home last night at about 9:45pm. Service information will be passed on soon.

So many of you have reached my blog to update yourselves on Cindy Wyatt. Cindy's journey began in February 2009 when she heard the words she prayed she would never hear..."We are 99% certain that we are dealing with cancer." What began as a stage one, common breast cancer has turned into several lesions on the brain and lungs. You may read the full story HERE.

I have learned that in the past 24 hours Cindy’s physical body has began a stunningly rapid decline. Apart from God’s divine intervention, her body appears to have fought its closing battle. Exactly when this battle will end, only God knows.
Please continue to lift The Wyatt's up in prayer and support their family during this hour.

Her loving husband Steve writes:
When the dear love of my life does release her body, that’s when her healing will truly be “complete.” And also “miraculous.” For as soon as she takes her last breath, in that very instant she will be in the presence of her beloved Jesus. Fully and forever alive, never to die again. My Lord gave her to me. And now, apart from His miraculous intervention, He appears to be her taking away.

JESUS- the only ONE who heals!

Urgent prayer request for Cindy Wyatt

Please see updates on Cindy made April 8, 2010 here.

I first heard about Cindy's journey through my mom's friend. After reading her Caring Bridge story I new my faith readers had to hear it too, you have gotten us through so much with my Papa. I am coming to ask you to please, be a prayer warrior for Cindy and her family. Cindy's husband Steve is the senior pastor at Christ Church of the Crossroads in Anthem, Arizona

To brief you on her story:

Cindy was diagnosed with breast & lymph node cancer back in Feb. '09, shortly after she had a lumpectomy. Margins were clean and lymph nodes were clear, God answered their prayers! Both radiation and chemotherapy were used to treat her disease and she had her last chemo treatment on July 15, 09!

August 16, 2009 Cindy suffered a seizure, a CAT scan revealed she has 6 lesions on her brain. She has been transferred to The Barrow Institute (same hospital Papa was in)

The MRI results showed she actually has 16 lesions on the brain, and they are definitely cancer. She will need full head radiation for 3 weeks. There will be no brain biopsy as she is not a surgical candidate. Steve, Cindy's husband will take her home today from Barrows to be with her kids and family. Her PET scan is being done right now and she will be seen tomorrow to begin the process of radiation.
All journal entries can be read on Cindy Wyatt's Caring Bridge site.

Jeremiah 30:17 "For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds, saith the Lord."

Sweet Kate MacRae needs you!

Kate's results are back from her MRI and the brain tumor is still present and not shrinking. Kate's little body is beginning the Chemo journey. We need to pray her kidneys and tiny body withstand the painfull medications. Ask the Lord to come with His wonderful healing presence and complete the healing and His glorious work .
God’s ear is not too dull to hear, His hand is not too short to save, He hears and He answers. God is still whispering good news through bible healing scriptures like what He says in Jeremiah 30:17 “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD ...”

A loss in our family....

I am sorry to let you know that this morning at around 10:30 AM my sister in law Jessica Terry Self passed away. At the moment doctors are unsure to the reasons why. They do have some ideas but we will not know more until the reports are completed. I will share more details and information as I feel comfortable to do so.
Chris and I along with the rest of the family have been at the hospital for most of the night and morning. We know Jess gone home to be with the Lord on this holiest of weekends.
Please keep our family and The Terry Family in your prayers today. Say a special prayer for her husband Matt Self.
I ask that I not receive any phone calls at this time. We have told our kids but do not want to keep talking about it in front of them.

With Love,
Kristen

Going into surgery at 8pm tonight...

Ben, my father in law has been in the hospital since Sunday. The have decided to remove his gall bladder this evening at 8pm. Can you please keep him in your prayers this evening. They are diagnosing him with pancreatitis for now, when we find out more we will update you.

Ben and Lila are Chris' parents who live here in Mesa, Arizona. They will greatly appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers.

Hope you all have a wonderful evening and a productive Tuesday.

XOXO,
Kristen

Update on Papa Jim...

We found out last week the MRI tests conducted on March 24th identified the mass on the left kidney as renal cell carcinoma (Kidney Cancer). The mass could be biopsied under CT guidance, we'll have to see what the urologist recommends on April 7th.

Tomorrow, Tuesday the 31st will be the bone marrow biopsy with the oncologist. Please pray for the wisdom of Papa's doctors and that the procedure goes well tomorrow and does not reveal any Cancer cells.

I am tempted by the enemy, as you may be, to fear for the worst. Recall this scripture from Romans 8:15 15For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship.[a] And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."

Thank you, friends. And remember, you are always welcome to send your prayer requests to me as well...we are all walking this together, and I am blessed to share in your lives as you have shared in mine.

I know Nana and Papa have read all the previous comments left on this blog. They find great peace and strength in all of your kind words and encouragement. Please continue to comment to them.

May you all be blessed.

Papa's MRI appointment has been moved up to today. We will not have any further results today but it is a step in the right direction. We will know more by Friday I am sure. The bone marrow biopsy will still be on the 31st.

News about baby boy Stellan aka MckMuffin....here is what MckMama posted on Twitter this morning about 2 hours ago. "Stellan had a very bad night. He's getting an Echo cardiogram now. Stellan is still in tachycardia."
You can continue to update yourself if you follow the blog link posted in the last post. You can click right on her picture and it will take you to her blog.

Thank you so much for all of the uplifting comments and for being such wonderful prayer warriors.

With much appreciation,
Kristen

Test, test and more tests.....

I wanted to post an update on Papa's health after a week of tests and new findings...Following the diagnosis of lymphoma on March 4Th, Jim "Papa" has undergone CT and PET scans. The CT scan revealed a mass on the left kidney. The PET scan showed no other enlarged lymph nodes in the upper body. Doctors are unsure if the mass is lymphoma or something unrelated. Friday Papa and Nana visited a urologist who ordered a MRI scheduled for March 25, which should identify the mass. Bone marrow biopsy is scheduled for March 31st.

Please continue to pray that the mass is benign.

Our family has been overwhelmed and honored by the amount of prayers that have been sent Papa's way. All of you, especially my spirit-filled faith readers have been a tremendous support. I can't even explain in words what this has meant to all of us.

Thank you, friends. I am speechless and saddened...I just don't know what else to say but that prayer works, and we NEED yours.

Prayer request

I am in need of a prayer request from all of my faith readers. My Papa, Jim Hancock was diagnosed on March 4th with Lymphoma. Currently the doctor considers it to be low grade B-cell lymphoma (follicular center cell lymphoma, grade 1) and very treatable. Saturday he went for a PET scan and is scheduled for a bone marrow biopsy on March 31. So far he has had wonderful doctors who seem to be very encouraging. Please pray that our Father leads Jim and Sue Hancock though this.

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds ... Great is our Lord, and mighty in power ..." (Psalm 147:3)

Lord, we know You and we trust You. Come and make yourself known.

Born into the hands of Jesus

My spirit is heavy this week thinking of a dear friend that I love so much. Her sweet Tristan was born sleeping on January 21, 2008, his 1st birthday soon approaches. I know her heart aches along with her wonderful husband, their families and their friends. Please take a moment to add their family to your prayers. Feel free to leave your scriptures and comments for her here I am sure she will appreciate it.

…and provide for those who grieve in Zion to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair…
Isaiah 61:2-3

Blessings to you, my sister in sorrow. Your season will come soon, Tristan is taking his time picking out the perfect brother or sister.

Love always,

Kristen
