A Baby Girl is Born!

After 20 hours of labor, this evening at 8:59pm baby girl Self was born!!! Weighing in at a tiny 3lbs. 2ozs and only a wee 17 inches long.

Keziah (my bestie) will be thrilled that she was born on her birthday! I am going to sneak her into Olivia's bed right now, she will be so excited when she wakes up with her new baby doll.

Never thought a onesie could be so cute did you?

Lovin' the one I just finished with pink satin ruffles on the butt (Shandi, this is one you ordered!).

Onesie prices start at $12-$18 including shipping. Sizes vary from newborn (5-8LBS.) though 24 months. Sorry to all of you mamas of baby boys...promise they will be out soon!
The onesies are mostly custom, no two alike! I can do something similar if you see something you like.
How stinkin' cute is this sequined crown, perfect for your little princess. The crown is heat set and sewn so you can wash and dry it!

Enjoy,

Gardening Tips: from a wanna be green thumb!

  1. Do not over water watermelons? They will soak up too much water at one time and split open. NO MORE THAN 4X'S PER WEEK AND MAKE SURE YOUR SOIL IS WELL DRAINED! *See text below.

  2. Shade your tomatoes and other goodies from the hot Arizona sun. Not too thick of a shade, they still need sunlight.

  3. Follow the planting directions on the seeds, 8 inches apart does not mean 4 inches will be enough space because you want a full, lush, green leafy garden.

I will save you the details of how my garden is thriving or post pictures that would require way too much photoshoping. I am only saying Chris told me maybe I should try planting a tree next time!

*My green thumb came only as a result of the mistakes I made while learning to see things from my soggy watermelon's point of view.

Sweet Kate MacRae needs you!

Kate's results are back from her MRI and the brain tumor is still present and not shrinking. Kate's little body is beginning the Chemo journey. We need to pray her kidneys and tiny body withstand the painfull medications. Ask the Lord to come with His wonderful healing presence and complete the healing and His glorious work .
God’s ear is not too dull to hear, His hand is not too short to save, He hears and He answers. God is still whispering good news through bible healing scriptures like what He says in Jeremiah 30:17 “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD ...”

To all of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ....

My heart is crushed tonight by sweet Kate's story, I found her video through Bring the Rain many of you read this blog as well. Kate has been at Phoenix Children's Hospital right here in my neck of the woods for the last week and a half. She was diagnosed with a large brain tumor on June 29th. Here is Kate's Carring Bridge site if you would like to keep up with her. Her parents have also made this touching video.

Our God is the great physician and he can choose to heal her of cancer. She needs your prayers tonight and through her continual fight ahead. Let's pray for God's great mercy on Kate, let's pray for Him to heal every part of Kate's body and let's pray for many to come to know Jesus amidst these horrific times.

Remember tonight that He who started that good work in your life (past) is still at work on you (now/present) and will finish what he started (future). We all know he heals it is just not always in the time frame or way that we desire it. God is good, He is Lord, and He is the Healer.
