Not showing improvement, please pray...

I am writing this post to request all of my faith readers to please pray for Papa Jim. As you may know he had his kidney removed on the 8th, a week ago Monday.

Without going into lengthy details.... He will undergo a CT Scan this afternoon to determine if there is internal bleeding, if the findings are what the Dr.'s are suspecting he will need a blood transfusion.

We also received news back from the Oncologist, Papa unfortunately does have Renal Cancer (Kidney Cancer) along with Lymphoma.

Remember that Jesus has given us His authority to heal, so it is not about you or the sick person's faith or your ability to pray well -- it is about what He has already accomplished. I don't fully understand all aspects of praying for someone with cancer yet, but I am getting the impression that this storm will require multiple prayer sessions. Keep praying for him by asking God to come and abide on Papa with His healing anointing.

Our Great and Mighty God is still the LORD our healer.

  7. My Mother passed of pancreatic cancer. The prayers I found most comforting were of the prayers for her to not experience pain and that if it was time for her to go that she not stay here any longer.

I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

  10. Father, In Jesus Name I come standing on Your promises asking for blessings upon Papa and knowing that You already are hearing our prayers. Father, we give You all the praise and Glory and know we only see the now and not the future. I pray for peace for this family and their continued strength to help their beloved Papa. I stand in faith knowing sometimes healing comes in Your time and not our own.
    In Jesus Name!

    Amen
